1984 - John Crosslé's editorial to the first "Crosslé News"

EDITORIAL

Welcome to the first edition of Crosslé News. It is almost frightening to think that I have been building racing cars now for over 25 years. Little did I know back in 1957 when I built my first car from a 1O cwt Ford van that it would lead to this. We have started the Crosslé Register to deal with the increasing number of requests that we get about Crosslé cars from all parts of the world. The purpose of the Register, and indeed this publication, is to bring existing and former Crosslé owners together. We want to know what has happened to some of our older cars, but more importantly to get in touch with the people who own them, love them, and race them. We hope that through the Register these enthusiasts will find it easier to locate parts, learn more about the history of their cars, and benefit from the experience of others throughout the world.
The success of the Register entirely depends on you. So write to us, be it a short letter or a full article and we will be delighted to answer any queries that you may have, or put you in touch with others who may want to know about a similar model or problem. In Edition 1 of Crosslé News we are providing the articles to get started. Let's hope that Edition 2 will be largely written by you.

Yours sincerely

JOHN CROSSLÉ
