The
Crosslé 60F

The
1985 Formula Ford 1600 was a considerable advance, featuring distinctive
new look round shaped bodywork with the driver positioned further forward;
pull-rod suspension in the front and rocking lever arm at the rear; a
single radiator positioned in front of the engine. The radiator was
wider and with a less restricted flow of air than on the 50 and 55F cooled
very satisfactorily. Raced by Alan McGarrity, Fionn and Alan Murray, and
Bernard Dolan and Bob Scanlon in Ireland and 50% of the production was
exported.
